Where there is a contract in place between us and you, the legal basis for our processing is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. Where there is no contract in place, the legal basis for our processing is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, our legitimate interests being the ability to provide you with our portal, facilitate your purchases, provide relevant information to your interests and to stay in contact with you.

Where you register for a newsletter, and consent to this pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, we will use your email address to regularly send you our newsletter and related promotional materials. The purpose of our processing is:

  2. Facilitate the performance of the contractual relationship and fulfilment of contractual rights and obligations;

The legal basis for our processing where there is a direct contractual relationship is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. Where there is no direct contractual relationship, our legal basis for the processing is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.  Our legitimate interests in the processing are managing contact persons for communication and customer care, carrying out of the contractual relationship and related rights and obligations, and communication.

2.2 Marketing

The purpose of our processing is:

  • Send you marketing material such as emails and/or newsletters;
  • Allow you to participate in prize competitions or other promotional offers;
  • Send you technical information and/or legal updates.

Where you have consented to us processing your personal data for marketing purposes, our processing is based on Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. Where you have purchased goods or services from us in the past, we may send you similar promotional material based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR – our legitimate interest being the promotion of our products.

  1. Access to your data, pursuant to Article 15 GDPR: You have the right to request information as to whether we are processing personal data concerning you, and subsequent access to this personal data.
  2. Rectification of your data, pursuant to Article 16 GDPR: You have the right to the rectification of your personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete, this includes by means of a supplementary statement.
  3. Erasure of your data, pursuant to Article 17 GDPR: You have the right to ask us for the erasure of your personal data, where no exemption for retaining the personal data applies.
  4. Restriction of our processing of your data, pursuant to Article 18 GDPR:You have the right to request a restriction on the processing of your personal data in particular circumstances.
  5. Data Portability, pursuant Article 20 GDPR: In some circumstances, you may be entitled to request that your personal data be provided to you in machine readable format. This is applicable where the processing of your personal data is based on consent (Article 6(1)(a)), where special categories of personal data are being processed based on consent (Article 9(2)(a)), or where your personal data is processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(b). This right to data portability includes the right to have your personal data transferred directly to another controller.
  6. Objection to our processing of your data, pursuant to Article 21 GDPR: Where your personal data is processed for the purpose of performing tasks carried out in the public interest (Article 6(1)(e)), for the purpose of legitimate interests of the controller (Article 6(1)(f)), or for the purpose of direct marketing and profiling related to this (Article 21(2)), you are able, based on the grounds relating to your particular situation, to object to the processing of your personal data. For direct marketing, you may object at any time without reasoning with future effect.

6. Provision of Personal Data

Where our processing of your personal data is based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, it is necessary for you to provide us with your personal data in order for us to carry out the contractual relationship. Where our processing is based on another legal basis, you are not required to share your personal data with us. However, it will often not be possible to fulfil the intended purpose without such personal data, or at least such fulfilment would be restricted without the provision of such personal data.
